While browsing in a local store among a group of signs, refrigerator magnets and other interesting sundries, the desk accessory below caught my eye. I have never worked in a place with this characteristic, but I have heard such places described.

Living in the N. Phoenix area, we still have many people who love their horses and a fair number who have maintained that “cowboy attitude.” Last week I attended the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show sponsored by the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona.
I had no idea of what to expect. I had never been to a horse show before. For someone not involved with horses, although I do like them, the array of vendors proved almost as fascinating.
Many things stood out as I walked the aisles, but I particularly liked some of the signs and this one seemed to exude that old west cowboy attitude.

There I was listening to a photography podcast that mentioned the book, The 5 Elements of Effective Thinking by Edward B. Burger and this piqued my interest. Once the podcast was over, I immediately went online to search for this volume.
Wow! This must be a special edition. Perhaps the hardcover has a solid gold binding or the MP3 CD is likely a platinum edition. What puzzled me most however was the Kindle edition. [Look at the prices outlined by the red rectangle.]
Thinking perhaps I could find the “standard edition,” I changed the wording of my search terms a bit and indeed, I found the “normal” pricing one might expect.
Now let me see, which edition should I buy? Hmmmm! [ LOL ]

Someone at the Indian Hills Community Center (5381 Parmalee Gulch Rd, Indian Hills, CO 80454) has an interesting sense of humor. They come up with clever, punny signs that sit by the side of the road and distribute smiles to passing travelers. The sign below is just one example
