SignEdge: Employees Wash Your Hands

SignEdge: A life with Joe – Coffee 2

“Before I had coffee, I didn’t know how awesome I was going to be, either.”

Our local Kroger grocery store has signs on their bulk coffee dispensers and as someone who really, really enjoys his morning coffee, I appreciate the sentiments!

SignEdge: Did You Ever Work Here?

While browsing in a local store among a group of signs, refrigerator magnets and other interesting sundries, the desk accessory below caught my eye. I have never worked in a place with this characteristic, but I have heard such places described.

“You don’t have to be crazy to work here, we’ll train you.”

SignEdge: Western Attitude

Living in the N. Phoenix area, we still have many people who love their horses and a fair number who have maintained that “cowboy attitude.” Last week I attended the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show sponsored by the Arabian Horse Association of Arizona.

I had no idea of what to expect. I had never been to a horse show before. For someone not involved with horses, although I do like them, the array of vendors proved almost as fascinating.

Many things stood out as I walked the aisles, but I particularly liked some of the signs and this one seemed to exude that old west cowboy attitude.

“Due to the high cost of ammunition, we will no longer fire a warning shot.”

SignEdge: Puns Gone Wild at Indian Hills CC

Someone at the Indian Hills Community Center (5381 Parmalee Gulch Rd, Indian Hills, CO 80454) has an interesting sense of humor. They come up with clever, punny signs that sit by the side of the road and distribute smiles to passing travelers. The sign below is just one example

My
My mood ring is missing and I don’t know how I feel about that.

SignEdge Snarky/Witty: Beer and Happiness

We recently visited the quaint Montana town of Red Lodge and like most small towns across our nation, they had several pubs and the sign below caught my eye. I am not encouraging the drinking of beer or other alcoholic beverages, but I do like the quip on the sign.

SignEdge: Wash Hands – Common Decency

I don’t know about you, but it is quite a turnoff when visiting a bathroom in a public establishment, watching people use the facilities AND then leaving without washing their hands. Some try to dribble a couple of drops of plain water across their palms, but really that doesn’t count

You can imagine my surprise when I was made aware of this sign found in many California bathrooms. Thank you CA!

Yes, common decency demands you wash your hands! Yes, YOU!
