Video – What Qualifies One As a Great Photographer?

To paraphrase Ken Van Sickle, Anyone can take a great photograph, but not everyone can be a great photographer. Noted photographer, Van Sickle, explains the qualities that would qualify one as a great photographer.

Gazania Mania

During our hot summer it is difficult to find plants that can “take the heat” and keep on blooming or even surviving for that matter. One of our favorites is the Gazania. Well, I am happy to report that they can take the cooler weather as well. While we do protect them from any frost, the cold weather has slowed them a bit, but has not stopped the parade of blooms and the array of colors.

Pickleball: Let’s Talk About the Serve

When players look at this diagram (below), I receive mixed reactions.

Some think it is an illegal serve because it looks like a side-arm swing. Others think that it is legal because it meets all of the elements of a legal serve, but admit it is close.
