**********
The STATUS QUOtes Story

I have always appreciated how thinkers, writers and philosophers are able to gather groups of words to express a thought in a poignant, witty or thought-provoking way. Years ago I began to collect quotes that I thought were especially inspirational, humorous or moving. From time-to-time, I would repeat a quote in an appropriate moment and as the topic of quotes arose, people would ask me to share some of them.

This is how STATUS QUOtes was born. I now try to post four quotes every day. I attempt not to repeat any quotes although some have made their way on to the board a number of times. I also try to avoid focusing on one philosopher, writer, etc. Each day I try to select a variety of witicisms that will appeal to a broad spectrum of readers which reflect an age group from teenagers through senior citizens.

STATUS QUOtes will continue as long as I am able to gather enough new expressions to fulfill my mission of providing inspiration and enjoyment to others.
