I do enjoy clever visual puns and T-shirts. Add in my interest in hiking and landscape photography and one can understand why I had a smile when I came across this bit of creativity!
Perhaps this a lament heard from a number of hikers, while others may look at it as a source of pride or accomplishment. I have heard from many that an endeavor such as hiking Rim-to-Rim at the Grand Canyon is a mixture of punishment and reward.

I am always on the look out for special signs and every once in a while, I am blown away by someone’s creativity. Since I am a self-proclaimedpunster, I certainly appreciate this type of humor.

After hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains one afternoon, we returned to our car to begin the journey back to our hotel in Bishop, CA. We had no way of anticipating we would have this kind of gasoline economy! We might have done even better, but the car stops counting at 99.9 MPG.
BTW – The automobile is a 2015 Subaru Forester! The image was captured with a smartphone.
