We have an expression in our house – nested bests. What this means is that you are in the best place with the best people doing the best thing at the best time; nested bests. There aren’t many nested bests moments, but when they happen, they are worth savoring and recalling.

For all those who have ever owned a dog that they loved or for anyone who enjoys petting other people’s dogs, this video is for you! If you have had a faithful companion that is now departed and all you have is fond memories, this will bring back many emotions.
Perhaps this is why Mark Twain suggested that if, given a chance, he would choose a dog over a person. Loyalty is a hard commodity to earn, but this animal was dedicated to his owner. It was sad that the owner was never to return because of his untimely demise.

Did you ever hear the story of Hachi (Hachikō)? Hachi is held up as the prime example of loyalty and the Japanese have built a statue to salute his dedication and loyalty. We saw it when we visited Tokyo!
