We continue our series of personalized (vanity) license plates in Arizona. To maintain individual privacy, we try to show as little information about particular cars as possible as long as we can reveal the license plate.
NOTE – License plate photos may have been archived for quite some time. The years indicated on the registration stickers DO NOT necessarily reflect the current status of any given plate!

What does down must come up – Bumper sticker spotted at the North Rim
Perhaps this a lament heard from a number of hikers, while others may look at it as a source of pride or accomplishment. I have heard from many that an endeavor such as hiking Rim-to-Rim at the Grand Canyon is a mixture of punishment and reward.

Another one of the popular Yosemite lakes is Mirror Lake. One look at the picture above leads one to realize where it got that name. North Dome is reflected in the lake and provides an excellent subject for those who enjoy scenic photography.
Mirror Lake is located diagonally acaross and roughly half way between Half Dome and North Dome. It is a nice hike around the lake and if visitors hike upward, they can have amazing views of both North Dome and Half Dome

One of my favorite wildlife photographers, Tin Man Lee, has created a moving and beautiful tribute to mothers in honor of their special day. Although it is a year old, the message and pictures are timeless.
I hope you enjoy this brief video as much as I did.
Everyone knows what a lake is of course. It is a body of water surrounded by land and at Yosemite, the land is very often surrounded by mountains. It is interesting though how different they are.
We were on our way to Tuolumne Meadows to hike Lembert Dome when we were approached Tenaya Lake. We stopped briefly to take several photographs. We wanted to spend more time hiking in and around the lake area, but alas we will have to return to fulfill those wishes.
