One of our favorite places to take visitors is Cosanti, the gallery and studio of Italian-American architect Paolo Soleri that was his residence until his death in 2013. Several months ago, we purchased a Soleri Bell that now hangs on a shepherd’s hook off the patio. It is crafted of bronze and metal, and has a deep rich tone. Wind storms sometimes necessitate taking the bell down; but most of the time it hangs happily in the desert sun, and is visited frequently by birds that perch on the hook. https://arcosanti.org/cosanti
