Photography: My Shot – Contrasts at the Museum

The Phoenix Museum of Art is a wonderful place to spend a day to gain inspiration or just enjoy the beauty that abounds. One nice benefit of visiting the museum is that parking is free and easy and just a short walk from the museum.

While visiting a several months ago, I was enjoying the contemporary art installations when I came across a young woman stopping to check her phone. The scene caught my eye because of the contrast of the fine art and the woman. The vivid colors of the paintings and the more subdued, but yet colorful long dress appeared to create a separate picture of their own. As indicated below, my photography this day was taken with a legacy iPhone.

Do you like the contrast of themes in this picture?
