We have listed below additional places to play pickleball in and around North Phoenix

Cholla Park

Outdoor Public Courts

Scottsdale, AZ

This is a busy venue with eight courts. A couple of the local pros play there, but play alternates among levels. It is difficult to tell what level players will be there at any given time, but people try to seek players of equal skill level.

NOTE FLC Closed the week of August 5th, 2019. Regular play resumes on August 13, 2019.

Indoor pickleball on six courts. Players of all levels attend the sessions. Court membership only for pickleball that is $20 a year. There is no daily charge.

Tuesday & Thursday (6 courts)
9:30am -1:00pm

Sunday (3 courts) with more courts from time-to-time
1:30pm – 4:00pm

NOTE – The FLC is associated with the Baptist Church, but the Family Life Center is open to everyone. There is a roller rink, weight rooms, small cafeteria, etc.

4 Courts with permanent nets Open daily from 5:30am-10:00pm

NOTE – This is one of the few dedicated, outdoor pickleball courts in N. Phoenix. Players of all levels, but mostly intermediate to advanced.

Thompson Peak Park

This is the relatively new Scottsdale outdoor pickleball facility. They have three courts. Lines for PB are painted on the basketball slab for those who have their own nets.

NOTE – Because this is newly opened, it is difficult to anticipate when there will be others there to play particularly when trying to match skill levels.
